Cookie Policy
Last updated: August 27, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how Voxere uses cookies and similar technologies (like local storage) when you visit or use the service.
01.What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small text files a site stores on your device. Voxere also uses browser local storage, which works the same way but holds data locally in your browser rather than sending it with every request. In this policy, “cookies” refers to both.
02.Strictly necessary storage
- Authentication session — stores your signed-in session token so you stay logged in across pages and visits, and so the app can prove who you are when loading your Voxes balance, projects, and billing data. Removing it signs you out.
- Security — used to protect sign-in, password reset, and payment flows against abuse and replay.
- Payment redirects — our payment providers set their own cookies during checkout so a transaction can be completed and returned to Voxere correctly.
03.Functional storage
- Theme preference — remembers whether you chose light or dark mode.
- Workspace state — remembers interface choices such as recent studio settings, so you don't re-enter them each session.
- Referral attribution — when you arrive through a referral link (for example /signup?ref=username), the referral code is stored temporarily so the referrer can be credited if you create an account. It is cleared once signup completes.
04.Third-party cookies
Some cookies are set by services we rely on to operate Voxere: our authentication and database provider, and our payment gateways (Paystack and Stripe) during checkout. Those providers use the data only to deliver their service and handle it under their own policies.
05.What we don't do
We do not use advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, or cross-site trackers, and we do not sell or share your browsing data with advertisers.
06.Consent
Strictly necessary storage is required for Voxere to function and is set as soon as you use the service. Functional storage is set only in response to choices you make in the app. Because we run no advertising or cross-site tracking, no marketing consent is collected.
07.Managing cookies
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies and site data in their privacy settings, and you can browse in a private window to discard them automatically at the end of a session. Blocking essential storage will prevent sign-in and stop features such as Voxes balance and checkout from working. Clearing site data signs you out and resets local preferences.
08.Retention
Session storage lasts until you sign out or the session expires. Preference and referral entries persist in your browser until you clear site data, or in the case of referral codes, until signup completes.
09.Updates
We may update this policy as the service evolves. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised date, and continued use of Voxere after that means you accept the updated policy.
